So! I was at the Family Christian Store in Madison the other day and I saw that they had the movie Thr3e for really cheap. I had read the book and I thought it was a good book and I thought it would make for a gooood movie. Turns out that whoever made the movie didn't read the book. Or so I would like to believe. It was horrible and there are seriously points in the movie that wouldn't make any sense whatsoever without reading the book. They just leave out crucial information and then later pretend like the viewer would know that. I watched it with my girlfriend and she was thoroughly confused so I let her borrow the book. That cleared some stuff up for her and she liked the book. So in short... the movie in my opinion is not worth watching.

I was really confused by that movie. It didn't explain anything at all. And I just kept asking Dason questions throughout the whole movie, which could have been a little irritating. However, that's how confused I was. But, when I read the book, I don't think I really wouldn't have set it down if it weren't for the fact that I forced myself to. It was infact, completely different from how the movie depicted it. It was really apparent that the director did not at all read the book, otherwise they wouldn't have left so many major parts out.
However, if you are looking for another good book to read, I would suggest "The Shack". It was a really good book for me. And I'm sure others would be able to relate to it in some way. Especially if you have a lot of questions about God, and your own personal faith.
