Stop signs, Stop Lights, a clear sense of direction. How does "stop" lead to "go"? Maybe I just need to yield.
Perhaps its not about the rules, perhaps they only slow the way. We can follow, take wrong turns and stumble, wait our turn, then turn around.
But perhaps there's something more than what we experience on the ground.
We live a life on trampolines, jumping up and soaring high knowing the freedom of the rise; but yet we "know" that what goes up must come down.
So we expect it.
We ready ourselves, "knowing"' we can not stay up forever.
But what if we "knew" the freedom of the rise was where we were to stay. If we "knew" not that we had jumped, but were being lifted; and the only way down was asking to be let down.
What happens then?
We don't look down.
We don't wait to fall. We keep our eyes and our chins up. We are above it all, lifted and set apart from all the noise below. We know that being lifted is what we are met to be. We know the freedom of the rise.
